TC Underground Karaoke 

TC Underground Karaoke is a private karaoke room located on the lower level of The Coin Slot building, downtown Traverse City. It’s the only private karaoke space in town that hosts small gatherings and is fully self-service with online reservation.

The challenge of this logo and brand was to make it appealing to new viewers at a glance, whether on print or online advertising. The font Wilko Solid was used because it felt friendly, fun and clean. It contrasts well on a smaller scale and was playful as stand alone text or set up as an arch on an emblem design.

Colors were chosen to fit a more dark contrast style. The website and other designs are centered around a darker background with different splashes of orange, purple, and off-white.

The biggest challenge of the logo was developing the form of the microphone. There were many iterations (which can be viewed below) but settled on a look with two microphones crossed over that was simple and placed inside a circle shape.
